Lavender Goat Milk Soap is the perfect balance of skin nourishing ingredients. We craft this soap from our Mini Alpine Goat Milk, locally sourced beef fat rendered into tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, and lye.

This listing is for FLORALS AND LAVENDER goat milk soap.

Ingredient list: goat milk from our homestead goat, home rendered tallow, lye, olive oil, coconut oil, dried lavender, lavender essential oil, homegrown dried flowers.

Lavender is of course popular for its calming benefits. All of the flowers that we grow for use in soap have medicinal purposes. Our most favorite flower to grow is Zinnias, and they are great for tightening the pores of your skin.

We are always adding NEW SCENTS! Our soap takes 3 weeks to cure. If you happen to order and your scent is still curing, we will reach out to make you aware of the lead time.

If there is an issue with the lead time, we can offer another scent.

Tallow is a super nourisher for the skin. It’s not greasy, and it won’t make you feel dry. It prevents damage to the skin, as well as provides antimicrobial benefits.

Goat milk helps repair the skin barrier and contains probiotics to aid in great skin.

This lavender goat milk soap with real lavender pieces and flowers is a natural exfoliant and can help prevent acne.

The best part is you aren’t rubbing chemicals all over your body. This soap is made by hand with real ingredients that you can read.

Our family switched to goat’s milk after Zad’s heart attack, and it has had so many benefits.

What are the benefits of lavender goat milk soap?

Lavender helps improve sleep, can lower heart rate and blood pressure because of the calming effects, and it can help with skin blemishes. It’s also sometimes effective at alleviating itching from poison ivy, mosquito bites, etc.

We use lavender essential oil, as well as homegrown and dried lavender in this lavender goat milk soap.

The florals are a variety of flowers from our garden that we dry. No spraying ever happens in our gardens!

Lavender Goat Milk Soap: What kind of goats do you have?

We milk our Mini Alpine goat who has 2 babies currently. We also have a Nigerian Dwarf goat, who will be bred next fall. We are loving having goats on our homestead. They are playful and fun.

Mandy milks their Mini Alpine every evening. Even being a mini goat, Twilight gives about a 1/2-3/4 gallon every evening.

Lavender Goat Milk Soap: How is soap made? What are lavender soap benefits? What is lavender soap good for?

Mandy makes every bar of lavender soap from scratch and by hand. She milks the goat. The beef fat comes from a local butcher, and she renders that down into tallow.

Each lavender goat milk soap bar is carefully calculated with the right ingredients to get just the right consistency. The tallow gives the bar the awesome uneven top look when it’s poured.

Is goat milk soap good for the skin? Our goat milk is nourishing itself, but the olive oil and coconut oil offer even more nourishment for your skin.

Of course, the lye is necessary for saponification.

Mandy has enjoyed learning about soap. We plan to offer soap only made herbs and flowers grown on the homestead. Look forward to scents like lavender, lilac, forsythia, and more.

We only scent and color with only natural ingredients grown here or sourced well.

Our lavender soap recipe is precise, so we know each bar will set up well!

A tallow soap bar will feel different than store-bought, commercial soap. This homesteaders tallow soap will help you feel nourished. You will feel GOOD when you use this tallow skincare goat milk soap.

Does goat milk soap clog pores? NO! Of course, everyone is different, but we think you’ll find this soap simply refreshing!

So when someone asks you: What is tallow soap used for? You hope you can honestly say it’s good for your WHOLE BODY!

Can you wash your face with lavender soap? Mandy uses this on her body, face, hair, and to shave, and the lavender bar soap is one of her faves!

Best Lavender Soap: Why buy from Chapel Hill Forge?

Our Lavender Goat Milk Soap is full of ingredients that you can read!

When you turn over that bar of commercially made soap from the grocery store, it’s usually full of words that no one can spell or say. Our soap is simple: olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, goat milk, lye.

Why do we use lye? Lye is essential for soap to actually become soap. Lye is also known as sodium hydroxide. It’s been used for centuries to make soap.

If you’re curious about other offerings from our homestead, check out the products in the From the Homestead category. If you’re local to Lancaster County, PA, we offer homestead fresh eggs in a rainbow of colors, as well as plant starts.

Seasonally, we offer produce from our garden. We enjoy offering products that you can’t find other places, like rarer heirloom plant starts or funky gourds.

If you have questions about goat milk tallow soap, email us at chapelhillforge@gmail.com. We are fully transparent about our ingredients and the process we use to make soap because we want you to feel confident in your purchase from us.

Our Natural Lavender Soap is the perfect addition to your daily hygiene routine. It’s gentle, smooth, and will help your skin feel hydrated and nourished.

Because we don’t use synthetics, the scents will be very mild. The benefits can be medicinal, more than for scent.
