Why is French Green Clay Good for Acne?

French green clay is highly regarded for its effectiveness in treating acne due to its unique composition and properties. Firstly, it has powerful absorbent properties that draw out impurities, toxins, and excess oil from the skin. This helps to unclog pores and reduce the buildup of sebum, which is a primary contributor to acne breakouts. By detoxifying the skin and removing these impurities, French green clay helps to promote clearer pores and prevent the formation of new acne lesions.

Secondly, French green clay is rich in minerals such as silica, calcium, magnesium, and zinc, which provide numerous benefits for acne-prone skin. These minerals help to nourish and strengthen the skin barrier, enhancing its ability to heal and regenerate. Additionally, the clay’s antibacterial properties help to combat acne-causing bacteria on the skin’s surface, reducing inflammation and preventing further breakouts. Regular use of French green clay as a mask or in skincare products can help to balance oil production, purify the skin, and promote a clearer complexion, making it a valuable ally in the fight against acne.

Why is Peppermint and Tea Tree Good for Acne?

Tea tree and peppermint essential oils are highly beneficial additions to goat milk soap, especially for addressing acne-prone skin. Tea tree oil is renowned for its powerful antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It effectively targets acne-causing bacteria on the skin’s surface, helping to reduce inflammation and prevent new breakouts. Tea tree oil also possesses anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe existing acne lesions, promoting faster healing and minimizing redness and swelling. Its natural astringent properties help to regulate oil production, making it an excellent choice for balancing the skin and preventing clogged pores.

Peppermint essential oil adds another layer of benefits to goat milk soap for acne-prone skin. Its cooling and refreshing properties provide relief from inflammation and irritation associated with acne. Peppermint oil contains menthol, which has a calming effect on the skin and can help alleviate itching and discomfort. Additionally, peppermint oil has antimicrobial properties that complement tea tree oil’s benefits by further targeting acne-causing bacteria. Together, these oils create a synergistic blend that cleanses, soothes, and revitalizes the skin, making goat milk soap infused with tea tree and peppermint essential oils an effective choice for promoting clearer, healthier-looking skin.

Refreshing Acne Soap: How is soap made?

Mandy makes every bar of soap from scratch and by hand. She milks the goat. The beef fat comes from a local butcher, and she renders that down into tallow. Each bar is carefully calculated with the right ingredients to get just the right consistency. The tallow gives the bar the awesome uneven top look when it’s poured.

Is goats milk soap good for the skin? Our goat milk is nourishing itself, but the olive oil and coconut oil offer even more nourishment for your skin. Of course, the lye is necessary for saponification. Mandy has enjoyed learning about soap. We plan to offer soap only made herbs and flowers grown on the homestead. Look forward to scents like lavender, lilac, forsythia, and more. We plan to scent and color with only natural ingredients grown here.

Our tallow goat milk soap recipe is precise, so we know each bar will set up well! A tallow soap bar will feel different than store-bought, commercial soap. This homesteaders tallow soap will help you feel nourished. You will feel GOOD when you use this tallow skincare goat milk soap.

Does goat milk soap clog pores? NO! Of course, everyone is different, but we think you’ll find this soap simply refreshing! So when someone asks you: What is tallow soap used for? You hope you can honestly say it’s good for your WHOLE BODY! Mandy uses this on her body, face, hair, and to shave.

Refreshing Acne Soap: Why buy from Chapel Hill Forge?

Our Refreshing Acne Soap is full of ingredients that you can read! When you turn over that bar of commercially made soap from the grocery store, it’s usually full of words that no one can spell or say. Our soap is simple: olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, goat milk, lye.

Why do we use lye? Lye is essential for soap to actually become soap. Lye is also known as sodium hydroxide. It’s been used for centuries to make soap.

If you have questions about goat milk tallow soap, email us at chapelhillforge@gmail.com. We are fully transparent about our ingredients and the process we use to make soap because we want you to feel confident in your purchase from us.

Goat Milk Tallow Soap is the perfect addition to your daily hygiene routine. It’s gentle, smooth, and will help your skin feel hydrated and nourished. Because we don’t use synthetics, the scents will be very mild. The benefits can be medicinal, more than for scent.
