Why is Charcoal Good for Skin?

Charcoal is a highly beneficial ingredient in goat milk tallow soap for its deep-cleansing and purifying properties. Known for its ability to absorb impurities, toxins, and excess oil from the skin’s surface, charcoal effectively unclogs pores and helps prevent acne breakouts. Its gentle exfoliating action removes dead skin cells, promoting a smoother and brighter complexion.

Charcoal also balances oil production, making it suitable for both oily and combination skin types by absorbing excess oil without causing dryness. With natural antibacterial properties, charcoal combats acne-causing bacteria, reducing the occurrence of blemishes. When combined with moisturizing ingredients like goat milk and tallow, charcoal soap not only cleanses deeply but also soothes and calms the skin, making it ideal for maintaining clear and healthy skin.

What Types of Skin Benefit from Charcoal Soap?

Charcoal goat milk soap is particularly beneficial for several types of skin due to its versatile properties. Firstly, it is excellent for oily and combination skin types. Charcoal effectively absorbs excess oil and helps regulate sebum production, which can lead to fewer breakouts and a more balanced complexion. By unclogging pores and removing impurities, charcoal soap promotes clearer skin and reduces the appearance of blemishes.

Secondly, charcoal goat milk soap is beneficial for individuals with acne-prone skin. Its natural antibacterial properties help combat acne-causing bacteria on the skin’s surface, thereby reducing inflammation and preventing new breakouts. The gentle exfoliation provided by charcoal also aids in removing dead skin cells and promoting a smoother skin texture, which can contribute to a clearer and more even-toned complexion over time.

Overall, charcoal goat milk soap is suitable for those looking to manage oily skin, control acne breakouts, and achieve a cleaner, clearer complexion. Its deep-cleansing and purifying abilities make it a valuable addition to skincare routines aimed at maintaining healthy and balanced skin.

Goat Milk Tallow Soap: How is soap made?

Mandy makes every bar of Cleansing Charcoal Soap from scratch and by hand. She milks the goat. The beef fat comes from a local butcher, and she renders that down into tallow. Each bar is carefully calculated with the right ingredients to get just the right consistency. The tallow gives the bar the awesome uneven top look when it’s poured.

Is goats milk soap good for the skin? Our goat milk is nourishing itself, but the olive oil and coconut oil offer even more nourishment for your skin. Of course, the lye is necessary for saponification.

Our Cleansing Charcoal Soap recipe is precise, so we know each bar will set up well! A tallow soap bar will feel different than store-bought, commercial soap. This homesteaders tallow soap will help you feel nourished. You will feel GOOD when you use this tallow skincare goat milk soap.

Does goat milk soap clog pores? NO! Of course, everyone is different, but we think you’ll find this soap simply refreshing! So when someone asks you: What is tallow soap used for? You hope you can honestly say it’s good for your WHOLE BODY! Mandy uses this on her body, face, hair, and to shave.

Goat Milk Tallow Soap: Why buy from Chapel Hill Forge?

Our Cleansing Charcoal Soap is full of ingredients that you can read! When you turn over that bar of commercially made soap from the grocery store, it’s usually full of words that no one can spell or say. Our soap is simple: olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, goat milk, lye.

Why do we use lye? Lye is essential for soap to actually become soap. Lye is also known as sodium hydroxide. It’s been used for centuries to make soap.
