When we got our stand mixer, Zad sort of fell into a new service that we now offer at Chapel Hill Forge. Our stand mixer needed help. It was not running smoothly, it bounced all over the counter, it did not sound healthy, and when we opened it up – the grease inside was BLACK.

For reference, the grease should be white and pretty – not black and gross.

Our Kitchen Aid Mixer Repair base price of $75 plus tax will get you a cleaning and regreasing plus a new seal. Zad does not like sending mixers back out to customers that have not been cleaned, so he will make sure all of the cookie bits and mess that got stuck up in your mixer over the years are taken care of.
When you pay for this Kitchen Aid Mixer Repair service on our website, we will contact you to setup a time to drop off your stand mixer at our locations in Willow Street or McClure, Pennsylvania. OR if you need to ship it, we will contact you to setup those details.
If you’re going to drop your mixer off in Willow Street or McClure, we’ll contact you after you place the initial order with drop off and pick up details. If you’ll need more parts beyond the seal and grease, we’ll contact you to discuss before we put in new parts.
If you need parts for your mixer, we may have to keep it longer. We keep some popular parts on hand, but sometimes we do need to order them in.
Before we repair anything behind a cleaning and regreasing, we will contact you to let you know how much the additional repair will be.
When your mixer is ready for pick up, we will contact you. We usually contact via email first, but if we can’t reach you via email, then we will call.

We know that shipping your mixer can be expensive, so if you’d like to try to repair your mixer yourself, you can schedule a consult with Zad. This is a 15 minute phone call where he can address your specific questions and help you troubleshoot what might be wrong with your mixer.
